MAQRO - QAPI Special Study
On the national level, IPRO is one of three Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) selected to assist CMS in the review of managed care organizations' (MCOs') quality improvement efforts. This work includes evaluation of project methodology, selection of interventions, and achievement of improvement. The MAQRO team has developed the methodology and has conducted regional training programs for CMS office staff, QIOs and Medicare Advantage organizations (MAs).
