In late June, you received PEPP Administrative Memorandum #2001-12, "Update to PEPP Administrative Memorandum #2001-10, Medical Record "Documentation Prompter" Stickers and Diskette". In this memo we indicated that we would be mailing additional resource material to facilitate improvements in medical record documentation. Accordingly, enclosed please find a CD-ROM with additional inpatient "documentation prompter" materials. The CD contains an updated poster, created in Quark Express. Since Quark is a design program and may not be available in all hospitals; you may need to utilize an outside vendor to reproduce the poster if you wish to print additional copies. However, we have included three (3) copies of the poster in this mailing. In addition, the CD also contains documentation prompter cards that can be produced in-house to share with your physician staff. The new inpatient documentation prompter cards are available in three formats: Quark Express, Microsoft Word and Adobe PageMaker.
