Please be advised that in accordance with our 6th Round PRO Contract effective August 1, 1999, there is an increase in payment of photocopying medical records to Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Competitive Medical Plans (CMP), Home Health Agencies (HHA) and Nursing Facilities (NF) from $.0498 per page to $.10 per page. The rate paid to hospitals will remain at $.07 per page. Postage costs will be paid at first-class U.S. postage rates. If there is need for expedited delivery (i.e., overnight mailing expense for HINNs), U.S. Postal Service overnight mail should be used. If U.S. Postal Service overnight mail is not available, the allowability of excess delivery costs (i.e. courier service) will be determined on a case by case basis

Enclosed is a revised voucher that should be used for photocopy reimbursement requests. Please read the instructions carefully. Also it is necessary to forward a copy of the IPRO chart request form with all invoices.
